The Schools and Camps at the New York Film Academy are honored to be the first choice of many Hollywood filmmakers and their families, including the son of Steven Spielberg; the son of Academy Award winning Actors Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins; the son of Academy Award winning Actor Kevin Kline; the son of the former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan; the daughter of director George Romero (Night of the Living Dead); and the son of Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe winning Actress Melanie Griffith.
Duke University’s Talent Identification Program
Duke TIP Summer Studies Programs offer students in grades 7-10 the opportunity to learn highly challenging material at a rate suited to their advanced abilities. Students enroll in a single Duke TIP-designed course for three weeks of in-depth study; they attend nearly 40 hours of class each week between Monday morning and Saturday afternoon

Girls Going Places
Submitted by Joy on Sat, 12/27/2008 - 2:16amGuardian's annual initiative designed to reward the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18. Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities. Prizes totaling $30,000 are granted to three top winners and 12 finalists each year, to further their entrepreneurial pursuits or save for college.
